NANAIMO — A four-vehicle pile-up in Nanaimo’s north-end sent two people to hospital with minor injuries.
The collision on the Island Hwy. just north of Enterprise Way temporarily shut down northbound traffic between Turner and Hammond Bay Rds.
A Nanaimo Fire Rescue official on scene confirmed at 3:20 p.m. the injuries were not serious and the highway would re-open shortly thereafter.
The crash clogged-up area roads, primarily spilling traffic onto Uplands Rd. and Metral Dr., adjacent to the Island Hwy.
