19-year-old arrested in connection with violent home invasion
NANAIMO — RCMP have arrested a suspect in a violent home invasion in Nanaimo.
Police said a 19-year-old man was arrested late Sunday night at a south end home for break and enter, assault with a weapon and disguise with intent.
Three men were sent to hospital, including one who had been hit in the head several times with a bat, after a home invasion early Sunday morning in the 600 block of Howard Ave., a police news release said.
Police said other suspects in the attack are “Being actively sought.”
